OUR MISSION
The Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve was organized in 1994 to provide public support for the Preserve through fundraising, volunteer programs, and education to ensure that the Preserve remains a natural wilderness for future generations.

The Friends play a critical role in raising additional revenue for Preserve programs and facilities through membership dues, donations, and fundraising activities. We play a major role in publicizing and promoting the Preserve's new Environmental Education Center and encourage community involvement in many Preserve opportunities.

The Friends advocate the protection, funding, and expansion of the Preserve and work closely with Preserve staff and elected officials in decision-making processes. We are in a position to make a difference.

By becoming a member of the Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve you can:

	Attend special events and presentations for Friends' members only
	Get discounts for programs
	Help fundraise for the Preserve and the Center's needs
	Assist in publicizing and promoting community involvement
	Work closely with Preserve staff and elected officials in decision-making processes
	Provide valuable input at our board meetings. Contact us for more information.
	Support the Friends when you shop at the Discovering Nature Store and they will make a donation to the Friends equal to up to 10% of the purchase  price.
