OUR MISSION
The Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve was organized in 1994 to provide public support for the Preserve through fundraising, volunteer programs, and education to ensure that the Preserve remains a natural wilderness for future generations.
The Friends play a critical role in raising additional revenue for Preserve programs and facilities through membership dues, donations, and fundraising activities. We play a major role in publicizing and promoting the Preserve's new Environmental Education Center and encourage community involvement in many Preserve opportunities.
The Friends advocate the protection, funding, and expansion of the Preserve and work closely with Preserve staff and elected officials in decision-making processes. We are in a position to make a difference. |
